What is love?

Is it just a feeling, peace, gratitude, or wealth..

Not the last one for sure, have seen too many wealthy people.. unloved, angry and unhappy.

When I was younger, I mistook it for infatuation, excitement, even lust.

Later, I thought it came from simply spending more time with someone...Maybe sometimes, but not always.

When I am pushing myself hard to work on
a logical task - like building a system, coding or doing accounting with a single minded focus.. it becomes very difficult to feel it..

So it is must be opposite of logic/mind - doesn’t live in the mind

And why is it easier us, to feel it for our child?

Perhaps because of their innocence... We are naturally drawn to care for them.

They remind us of how we once were... accepting life as it is... before ambition and desire took over.

"Hazaaron Khvaahishen aisii ki har Khvaaish pe dam nikale, bahut nikale mere armaan lekin phir bhii kam nikale"

"There are thousands of ambitions that, each such wish could consume my life. My desires, aren’t enough for this one lifetime"

With our desires and ambitions we forget people and things we love..

I remember a batch of 200+ frames that was ruined at the final stage of production.

We were angry. Later, we learned that the artisan responsible was caring for a seriously ill family member.

What seemed like negligence was, in reality, a human being having a difficult time.

The experience taught us something important about the process - which was flawed.

Understanding the human helped us improve the system.

Maybe love is awareness, seeing people and things as they truly are, understanding them and caring enough to pay attention.

It's easy to blame.. Much harder to stay aware.

Like a river smoothing a stone over years or a child learning from how we respond to life..

Love works quietly through patience and presence.

My current understanding is that love is our natural state. We lose touch with it when fear, or distractions take over.

And while love can never really be explained, only experienced!

I hope you'll think of a moment in your life when you felt deep gratitude, peace, and love, and hold onto that for the rest of your life...

As we build COCO LENI, I'd love to know:
